Coolnan Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Please can someone give me advice? I am looking for a replacement for my Do-Craft Digital Designer program for making Greeting cards as for some reason my DD freezes when I import an image. I have been using DD for several years without problems. I like to import images from Nitwit Collections that I own also images/photos from my library. Would I be able to do this with Affinity? Thank you for any help. Quote
firstdefence Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 Welcome to the forum @Coolnan Yes you should be able to use it. With regards to your libraries and images, as long as they are folders with images in them and not proprietary packaged formats that only Do-Craft Digital Designer can access you should be good to go. PaulEC Posted February 13, 2022 Posted February 13, 2022 There are actually three Affinity Apps: Publisher, Photo and Designer. Each one is available as a 10 day free trial, so probably the best thing to do is to try them out and see which one is the best for what you want to do. The trial versions (desktop only, not iPad) are available via the following links: Affinity Designer: https://affin.co/designertrial Affinity Photo: https://affin.co/phototrial Affinity Publisher: https://affin.co/publishertrial Please note that each trial is strictly limited to ten calendar days, counting continuously from the moment you first launch the app, so for maximum testing time you should run each trial separately. Thanks to the shared file format, any documents that you save can be opened and further edited in the other apps.
