friedeggstudios Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Feature request for Affinity Photo: Allow macro recording of layer movements. Situation: If you are recording a macro, when moving a layer below another layer the current macro recording engine does not allow this action to be recorded. Better: Allowing the macro recorder to record layer movements would give the user freedom to move layers where they wanted, up or down, Currently regarding macro recording of layer movements, we are restricted to being able to record only layer duplications. carl123 Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 All Layers can be moved in macros Just use the Arrange > Move... commands from the menu (don't try to drag the layers) Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. kirk23 Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 I'd rather want something like in Photoshop were you can switch documents by special script . like copy layer named "A" from previously selected document and paste it in current document. Photoshop is able to now an order of documents you opened. Quote
