Thanks Peter, totally aware of that but a work around is not the answer. All other photo apps such as photoshop DXO and Capture one all supported the X-T5 almost from day one. Don't get me wrong i've been using AP from day one and a strong advocate. I have produced a number of tutorials in support of the programme as I really believe it to be a photoshop contender, however, a 12 month wait for RAW support on a popular camera is very poor.

Still pretty poor when you aim to be a photoshop competitor and both lightroom and photoshop supported the Fuji X-T5 from day 1.

The fuji XT5 has been out over a year now and yet Affinity photo still does not seem to support RAW files from this camera. As a user of Affinity from day one, i'm very disappointed.

Feature request for Affinity Photo: Allow macro recording of layer movements. Situation: If you are recording a macro, when moving a layer below another layer the current macro recording engine does not allow this action to be recorded. Better: Allowing the macro recorder to record layer movements would give the user freedom to move layers where they wanted, up or down, Currently regarding macro recording of layer movements, we are restricted to being able to record only layer duplications.

I am getting the same error, it only seems to happen on images which are in portrait mode. Landscape images do not have the issue. Hope that helps and hope you can fix it soon.

i am getting the same error with latest version. It only seems to happen when photo or image is in portrait mode. Does not happen in landscape.

It has now been fixed in the latest beta release

Same issue here, when i type basic artistic text i get a solid colour background instead of being transparent. This is not the case in 1.8 where everything works correctly. Cheers
