Ammar
Hi When doing UIUX designing users needs a pages feature similar to sketch and a prototype feature also similar to sketch and Adobe XD, is there chance they are coming soon ? Also now most of ready made UI kits support only Sketch, XD, Figma, Affinity marketing team should do more to make designers support Affinity Designer cause it’s far away best than the mentioned Apps. We can export and import but for complicated UI files it won’t be precise. Kindest Regards
All Media Lab
Hi, I think you can compare Affinity Designer more to Illustrator then to the above mentioned apps. When I need Sketch I have it here, but hardly use it anymore. Most of the time I use Affinity Designer and HTML Prototyping with for example Bootstrap 5. Saves a lot of extra steps and the UI with customisation can be tested right away in a application or website. Ammar
Thanks allot for the details but still I think designer can get the best of both Apps why limited to one, and adding prototyping isn’t very complex task. kindest Regards

Ammar
@R C-Rbased on the far more complicated tasks they did in a great way. R C-R

What "far more complicated tasks" are you talking about? How do they compare to what you want to see implemented in AD for prototyping? Are you talking about product prototyping, plus exporting & converting that to HTML for web pages, or something else? Ammar
I mean simple product prototype same as Adobe XD, maybe exporting to movie format will be handy. This task compared by the all graphics features the App have is considered simple that’s what I mean.

I do not use Adobe XD, so I still do not know what you mean by "simple product prototype" but I do know that in Affinity there is no code at all for supporting any kind of time based animation/movie work, so there would be nothing simple about adding support for that, much less exporting it. I think that Serif has specifically said they have no plans for animation or movies.
