Annimac Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 I have uninstalled and reinstalled Publisher(in fact all three apps), then rebooted my computer...still barring me from click and drag. Quote
GarryP Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 (edited) Welcome to the forums @Annimac Dragging a randomly selected JPG from File Explorer (or my Desktop) to Publisher – with an open document or no open document – works fine for me. How are you dragging the JPG file (what physical actions are you using), and what input device (mouse/tablet/trackpad/etc.) are you using? Also, which version of Windows are you using? Edited January 22, 2022 by GarryP Missed some details given in the title. Quote
carl123 Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Dragging a JPG or any file from File Explorer (or the Desktop) to Publisher or any app does not currently work in Windows 11 This is a generic Windows 11 problem not Affinity's, which should be fixed in a later version of Windows 11 There are some user created (GitHub) fixes if you can't wait that long GarryP 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Staff DWright Posted January 23, 2022 Staff Posted January 23, 2022 In Affinity Publisher you cannot drag and drop a jpg into a document you will need to ether place it into a picture frame or directly into the document. Quote
