aymanzone
hi Background color not picking up color when exporting to pdf. I just get white color instead of yellow. Anyone had this problem before? Thanks I never had any issue with this until recently. I didn't change anything. When I export to PNG or JPEG background color picks up correctly (i.e. yellow), but when I export to PDF, for some reason it doesn't pick it up. It shows as white instead of Yellow. Anyone else had this problem? I don't think I've had it before. My Color Format is RGB/8 Color Profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1 Thank you
walt.farrell
How are you setting that background color? aymanzone 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. aymanzone
hi @walt.farrell I'm put a rectangle tool in the Master Page and made the rectangle color to yellow. I applied all the pages to it
aymanzone
Another odd thing, if I shrink the box I can see it in the pdf (see purple color in screenshot) --- But if I increase rectangle size, I can't see the color purple anymore (see purple color in screenshot)
walt.farrell
Thanks. I've no idea what might cause that. Can you supply a sample .afpub document that shows the same behavior? aymanzone 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. NotMyFault
Cannot reproduce on Windows. Colors might be slightly off, otherwise looks ok. Which exact PDF Export settings do you use? aymanzone 1 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | Windows 10 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. aymanzone
Looks like my Adobe pdf Viewer had "Replace Document Colors" checked! Not sure how this even happened. I unchecked it. I never touched adobe preferences but somehow it was checked. I'm sorry to lead on a wild goose chase but if you had not checked it from your end I would have been perpetually stuck. Luckily it's now solved. I started looking and fixed it according to this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_N7PgpkH8lM basically the screenshot below. I remove the check mark and it worked Thank you @NotMyFault and @walt.farrell This is really my bad for wasting your time like that I really tried to find solution before posting here. I was investigating for whole week Old Bruce, walt.farrell and NotMyFault
