Hi all, and Merry Christmas!

I want to know if there is a way to add metadata read from an image to fill in a caption, for example. I use to do it a lot in Indesign, it saves me a lot of time and errors.

Thanks!

Probably not without "external preparations", e.g. exiftool to extract metadata into csv files, adding the URL of the image file, so you can merge that pre-processed data.

By no means I'm an expert regarding publisher, others maybe have better insight.

I use iPad screenshots and videos even in the Desktop section of the forum when I expect no relevant difference.

Hi @Jose Alvarez,

My sincerest apologies for the delayed response here, we were extremely busy over the Christmas period and working from home during the pandemic is unfortunately extending our response window to be longer than normal, many thanks for your continued patience and understanding here.

As mentioned above, this isn't directly possible within the Affinity app currently, my apologies.

I'll move this thread to the feedback section of our forums, for our devs to see and consider implementing in the future :)
