Try with deactivated hardware acceleration. Go to Edit -> Prefences -> Performance and untick.

What release of Photo?

What OS?

Is this with all documents, or one in particular? Are you doing anything specific when it happens?

It is an Affinity Photo for macOS version 1.8.3 and already updated for several times (I'm running with Mojave at this moment).
It just stop responding, I can not open it or either close it

I can confirm version 1.8.3 was released in April of 2020, so we'd certainly recommend updating to the latest version of Affinity.
Can you please verify, was this originally purchased through the Mac App Store or the Affinity Store?

Yes..... I Purchased it last year, and it always automatically updated if you open the application...

But since this morning the program is not responding and I don't how to update it at this moment since I can not open the Affinity Photo

Please visit the following link to download the latest version (1.10.4) -

https://store.serif.com/update/macos/photo/1/

Once downloaded, please install this using the usual method, you should find macOS asks to replace this app with the currently installed version.

After installation, are you able to launch the app, and does this reduce the 'Not-responding' you're seeing please? :)

I purchased Affinity Photo on 12/6/2021 and tried for the first time yesterday.  I have version 1.10.4.1198 for Windows 10.  Over the course of about 6 hours of work, it crashed 3 times (became "unresponsive").  I just unticked the hardware acceleration preference (as suggested above) and my fingers are crossed.
