Hi, my Mac will not print anything apart from 2 thick black lines.

Print preview defaults to an orange page with 2 thick black lines for any type of image or file.

Tried resetting to defaults in printing preferences.

I can export the .af doc to a jpeg then print via Mac preview, but that's no good.

Same printing issue for photo, designer, publisher.

My Mac is working fine on the latest version of Monterey 12.0.1

Any suggestions gratefully received thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forums @Chiillii,

What sort of printer is it?

Are the drivers up to date?

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi, yes all up to date. The Epson works fine with other apps on the Mac. Mac preview works fine with jpeg images exported from affinity. Preview and print in affinity is not working correctly.

Cheers

In the Print dialog, mid way down under Range and Scale, using the drop down menu for Fit Type, choose Fit to Printable.

Hi, Oh dear! Crashing issue!

Changing that setting previews the document, which is great, but

*Fit To Printable, or

*Shrink To Printable

Causes Affinity to crash in all 3: Publisher, Designer and Photo!

Suggestions most welcome :(
