GarryP
Welcome to the forums @HUB_AFF This has been mentioned from time to time. There have been requests to change this but, as far as I know, nothing has been done yet. Komatös
Cloning/duplicating works only with a layer not with a selection. The simplest way, at this time, to become a copy/clone, is to make the selction and press ctrl + j. headhacker
Has anyone from Affinity ever addressed this issue? This continues to annoy me year after year. This is a simple ask for a standard function. I've seen bug requests filed under this topic as well as feature requests. Thanks, Jon
