Stolzy Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 If I open an image (jpeg) and 'resize canvas' I get the expected even border around the image. However, if the same image has been previously cropped the extra space appears to the bottom and left of the image space. I've watch countless videos of how to put a border around an image, but none seem to work if the image has been previously cropped (and I should add rasterised). Clearly I'm doing something wrong, but what? Quote
Old Bruce Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 I will assume you are using Photo. After Cropping use the Document > Flatten to reduce the image to the size of the canvas. Aside: The Crop tool in Affinity Photo is crippled on purpose, for no good reason that I can figure out. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.7 | Affinity Photo 2.5.7 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.7 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

In this scenario, you need to use Rasterise & Trim, not Rasterise Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
