Wosven Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 From this thread, I notice that the apps don't always indicate the mode Multiply when it's active: We used this file: https://fr.vecteezy.com/art-vectoriel/2566096-idee-de-conception-de-banniere-rapide-gratuite-pour-restaurant from the thread above for tests. Bug when importing SVG, some layers should use the blen mode multiply (as in the browsers preview) When the EPS (47.eps) is opened in the site Photopea and exported to SVG, the shadows and some blend modes can't be translated, and are displayed as dark to white gradients in AD, when they are correctly displayed in Chrome or Firefox. 47_Layer_1.svg Bug with multiply blend mode not displayed and/or listed When the file is copied from Illustrator and pasted in AD, the shadows are correct, using multiply mode, but it's not displayed in the layer panel (they are set to "normal"). If I export the same file from Photopea to PSD (bypassing the alert about PS bugging when there's more than 8000 layers... since I'll open the file in AD only), there's an error message about the gradients (and effectively, they are wrong, radial instead of elliptic like when pasted from Illy), but the blend mode is correct and set to multiply. At some point, some blend modes aren't reconized or used, but they are correctly displayed in the browser or when objects are pasted from Illustrator They probably aren't displayed correctly, like for the multiply blend mode. Again, the blend mode is set to "Normal", instead of the real one used. 47-copy-paste from Ill.afdesign PSD opend in AD: 47-ai2PSD.afdesign 47-ai.psd edee 1 Quote
Staff Callum Posted November 17, 2021 Staff Posted November 17, 2021 Hi Wosven, This file is using CSS to define its object styles rather than SVG which is why the blend modes are being ignored as at this point in time we don't support SVGs with CSS styling. Hopefully in the future this is something we can add support for. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
