I try understand copying shapes with ctrl+j in Affintiy Designer

I try understand copying with ctrl+j in Affintiy Designer. one tutorial make line and copy it using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V and i undetand modify this new copy of line. and after this Ctrl+J makes new lines for example more 15 angle or any other what i select Ctrl+J makes exactly same copy what i get with Ctrl+V what heck is wrong in my workflow?. if someone can tell it in text no videos.and not so funny thing i get this working siongle time but i dont udnertstand what i now do different. i tried undertstand this video.

Now it works expectly way but is there any info what i can "automate" beetween copies at least size,rotation and position but what else if anything else. no looks is easy do something what i wanted do (stuff what helps doing symetry in vector side of Designer) what is related this (i maybe someday show results). Luckily there is these red and green magic lines what i think most know what shows when objects are in line.

As far as I know and experienced only transformations like move, rotate, scale and distort by dragging nodes work with Ctrl+J. Not colour changes or changing styles f.e.

But I think you should also take a look at "Symbols".

i know symbols at lest some level. dragging nodes is indeed nice. i also found some solutions some things what i need. i cannot describe them (limited english) but related doing background for art broads. but related doing vector symmetry same way what bitmap symmetr works in this program. looks like flip works but together with rotation not. wat is hard describe what i trying do. but i can flip after doimng power duplicate one half of these copied shapes/symbols. is related mirroing thing.
