derei
I want to do something really basic: Write vertically using Latin Alphabet (so, no fancy characters)... but I can't seem to see where I can turn the horizontal to vertical. Basically I want this: T E X T but, the only way to do it, is manually to type each character on a new line and then very oddly to control the space between lines, rather than space between characters. Please help.
PaulEC
It isn't the only way! On the odd occasions I've needed to do this, I convert the text to curves and place them how I want them. (Not very practical for large amounts of text.) Another way is to type the text into a text box, then alter the shape of the box so that it is only one letter wide. (I'm not sure if this always works with all fonts.) I think there's also a way using columns or a single cell table. Of course it would be much easier if Serif actually added a vertical text option! 😉 Alfred 1 Quote Acer XC-895 : Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz : 32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 : Windows 10 Home Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) on desktop and iPad
