Hi @Muhamed, welcome to the forums,

Is your image RGB/8 bit, RGB/16? What format, JPG, TIFF, RAW? I'm not able to replicate this using the HighPass Filter from the Filter Menu>Sharpen. However if I use the Live version, and am using a RGB/16 image I get a crayon affect, looks like the image was done with chaulk or crayons.

Could you try using the HighPass Filter from the Live Filter selections? Also try converting your image to RGB/8 using the Document>Convert Format/ICC Profile. See if you still get this.

I get something similar with OpenCL acceleration on. (Nvidia GPU) I don't think High Pass from the menus is working properly or maybe I don't understand what its doing. Live filter is fine.

Hi @Muhamed, @RichardMH,
Thanks for your reports. I've been able to replicate some of these issues here and have logged them to be looked at.

@Muhamed,
Welcome to affinity Forums :)
Do you mind attaching the image/document (.afphoto file) shown in your screenshot above for us to check something please? I can provide an upload link if you wish to keep the file private. Just let me know. Thank you.
