dantaylr Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Pressing enter in a text field doesn’t update the cursor position visually, though it seems to be adding a return. The video demonstrates a single return vs pressing return twice and how the cursor doesn’t follow. FullSizeRender.mov Quote
walt.farrell Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 I don't see that behavior when using the Artistic Text Tool using 1.9.9; it moves down to the next line immediately. But I found something similar on 1.10.8 beta: there the return is invisible (and makes the cursor invisible), and I can only get to the next line by typing return and then using the right-arrow key. Right-arrow makes the cursor visible (but still on the same line) and the next key I type goes to the next line Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. FullSizeRender.mov Hi Dantaylr, I'll get this passed on, thanks! 8 hours ago, walt.farrell said: I don't see that behavior when using the Artistic Text Tool using 1.9.9; it moves down to the next line immediately. I've passed this on to Dev as well. dantaylr and walt.farrell 2 Quote
