Export PNG-8 create a blank image

Thanks for the file - it looks like you have several layers/groups with an Opacity less than 100%. It is this that is causing them to appear missing. If you set these to be 100% You should be able to export using PNG-8. 

If you would rather keep the semi-opaqueness of those layers then you may have to use PNG preset for the time being. I will get this passed on to development to look at.

If your document is an 8-bit document, then the PNG preset should give you what you need. PNG-8 (as a document format) is simply PNG with an 8-bit depth.

How the file is produced is not really specified by the name of the Preset, but by the details hidden in the "More..." dialog during File > Export.

Or uncheck the Palettised option in the More section.
