darfil
Hi, when I try to export an image with transparency as PNG-8, I get a blank image, as you see in the attached file. No problem with PNG-24.

Staff Sean P Posted June 25, 2021 Staff Share Posted June 25, 2021 Unfortunately you've only attached a screenshot - I require the actual AFDesign documen't you're using.

Staff Sean P Posted June 25, 2021 Staff Share Posted June 25, 2021 Thanks for the file - it looks like you have several layers/groups with an Opacity less than 100%. It is this that is causing them to appear missing. If you set these to be 100% You should be able to export using PNG-8. If you would rather keep the semi-opaqueness of those layers then you may have to use PNG preset for the time being. I will get this passed on to development to look at. darfil
Where I can find the PNG preset?
Staff Sean P Posted June 25, 2021 Staff Share Posted June 25, 2021 If you click where it says 'PNG-8 (dithered)' in your screenshot and select 'PNG' preset it will export without problems.

PNG-8 (as a document format) is simply PNG with an 8-bit depth. How the file is produced is not really specified by the name of the Preset, but by the details hidden in the "More..." dialog during File > Export.
