garrettm30 Posted June 10, 2021 Share Posted June 10, 2021 This bug is in Publisher beta 1.9.4.1082 on Mac but is not in release 1.9.3, so it happened somewhere in the 1.9.4 beta. If you create a new file from a template that has a linked file in it, and if you also have that same linked file open, when you close the new file (from template), the linked file also closes. Here are simple steps: Open document.afpub in beta Open template.aftemplate in beta Close the new untitled document (from the template) without saving Error: the file document.afpub also gets closed.
