NotMyFault Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 (edited) Hi, this issue might be caused by stupid user input, never the less crashed Photo and my PC (hard reset required). You need Photo and Designer to reproduce. Open file in Designer Copy layer group Open Photo Paste Photo takes some time to finally render the image. The image dimensions are beyond reasonable. If you activate the perspective live filter in the nested layers, both Designer and Photo cause rendering issues and occasionally a crash of Photo. For me the questions is why Photo takes such extreme document size. Alternative road to fun: Open file in Designer Copy layer group Open Photo Create new document of reasonable size, e.d. 2K x 2K Paste To increase insanity, select crop tool and zoom out a bit The document itself is seemingly harmless in Designer: View in Photo when pasted as "new from Clipboard" View in Photo when pasted into new 2K x 2K document (crop tool active) stupid d to p.afdesign Edited June 4, 2021 by NotMyFault added screenshots Chris B 1 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. Staff Chris B Posted June 7, 2021 Staff Posted June 7, 2021 I have no idea what has happened here but... it's not good... I will feed this back. It crashed both my apps and I thought my tower was going to explode into a fireball. NotMyFault 1 Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
