Mollyc
I've used Affinity publisher to create a 100 page illustrated colour book and created a PDF for publishing on Amazon. But its turn out very wrong. It's stripped out the text. Has anybody any idea what's happening? Amazon is not replying to my emails.
walt.farrell
It would help if you'd create a shorter sample book in Publisher that demonstrates the problem. Then export it like you did your longer book, and provide us with the .afpub file and the .pdf file. Mollyc
Thank you, Walt. I can do what you ask but the PDF that I produce is perfect as it is. Looks good Using Preview. The issue is sending it to Amazon. But if it helps, I can make a shorter version. Thank you for your help.
Amdival
Maybe check font licensing. Just a guess. I have no experience with publishing on Amazon.

wonderings
can you take some screen shots of what it looks like after you upload to Amazon?
Mollyc
Thank you, wonderings. As you can see, there is no text on the right side. It's stripped out all the script. Pictures ought to be on the left, writing non the right.
Old Bruce
I think what is happening here is that the PDF you have is generated from "All Spreads" and it should be "All Pages". Just a guess due to the left side of the 'pages' from the PDF being the images.Only the Left side of the page (actually a spread from the Publisher Document) is fitting on each page in the generated Amazon file. Export as All Pages and try again. walt.farrell 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
