On a Mac at the top left there are the three round buttons. Red-save, Orange-minimise and Green-full page. Now when a change is made to any App, Apple puts a black spot in the middle of the red to show that it needs saving. I don't get that using any of the Affinity Apps. Is this by design?

Thank you, Walt. I can do what you ask but the PDF that I produce is perfect as it is. Looks good Using Preview. The issue is sending it to Amazon. But if it helps, I can make a shorter version. Thank you for your help.

I've used Affinity publisher to create a 100 page illustrated colour book and created a PDF for publishing on Amazon. But its turn out very wrong. It's stripped out the text. Has anybody any idea what's happening? Amazon is not replying to my emails.

Odd. I do not have, Document > Colour Format > Greyscale. I am running 1.7.3

So, straight from the horse's mouth!! From Affinity: "Unfortunately Affinity Photo doesn't support pasting inside a selection, as in Photoshop." Kinda not impressed by the omittance of a technique that ought to be so standard.

Can someone tell me how to do this!!! It ought to be so simple. There are hundreds of users on the web asking the same question.

This does not work. At least on 1.7.1. To do this I had to go Layer > Duplicate selection. It only took me 2 hours to work this out. And I began with Photoshop 1

Hello. I have Affinity Designer on the Mac and the iPad. On the Mac I have Vector brush tool/brushes/assorted-textured-Image-basic. But on the iPad I only have Vector brush tool/brushes/Pens-chalks and pastels-acrylics-watercolours and gouaches. Please tell me where the Image brushes are. Thank you.
