sandr
Affinity publisher is super slow in loading and saving a document with a few linked pdf files.. It takes half an hour to save the document, and that is odd, because the file is not that big. What might be the issue?
walt.farrell
Are you really running the beta? The current 1.9.2 beta is several builds older than the official 1.9.2 release. Aside from that, do you have Hardware Acceleration enabled in your Publisher Preferences (Performance, near the bottom)? If so ,have you tried with it disabled? -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. walt.farrell
Thanks. My suggestion was to see if disabling hardware acceleration would help. -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
