Publisher is consuming all my RAM memory 16g and beyond!
sandr replied to sandr's topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
@Komatös unfortunately that did not resolve the issue, but thank you for your advise! -
Hi there, publisher is consuming all my RAM memory and becoming unworkable, crashing etc. it is driving me nuts.. My file has 35 pages with a reasonable amount of imagery, all linked, but it also crashes with relatively smaller files.. My windows laptop has 16g RAM memory and a nvidia1070gti card, that should be sufficient I would say. Never had any problems with Indesign.. What on earth could be the issue, why is the program consuming so much RAM memory?

"Fix for Replace Image moving Picture Frame content unnecessarily" it works fine now with image files, but it is still a bug when applied to pdf files -
Affinity Publisher Customer Beta - 1.9.2.998

...this also implies for images placed in a pictureframe and edited in photoshop; when updated, a complete resize and scale malfunction in AFP.. -
Affinity Publisher Customer Beta - 1.9.2.998
sandr replied to AdamW's topic in [ARCHIVE] Publisher beta on Windows threads
Updated the beta, Still a linked pdf, placed in a picture frame and rescaled in AFP is behaving awkward when relinking or updating the file after editing the pdf in another program (incorrect scale and position).. totally unworkable.. Please try to fix this, we cannot use the program as it is right now. -

Please resolve this problem, the program is unworkable for us in this way.... (we work with scale sensitive drawings(pdf); architectural firm)
