Stack-based buffer overrun!

Overrun could allow an unauthorized user to take control of the application ."

 

The pop up is shown when logging into the account.

Latest version of Photo and Design !  ...Same error!

Application not responding.

Thanks for reporting this. Would you mind answering a couple of questions for me?

  1. What version of Windows are you running?
  2. Do you have any firewalls or antivirus software running?
  3. Where did you buy the software (Affinity Store or Windows Store)?

Hi, I found this thread because exactly the same thing just happened to me and I was wondering what was going on.

To answer the @DanG 's questions, though I am not the thread creator:

1. Operating System: Windows 10 20H2

2. Antivirus: Just Windows Defender

3. Purchased via: Affinity Store

Edit: For me this happened in Designer

Hi DanG,

1) Windows version is 20H2 build 19042.928

2) Yes windows firewall and AV

3) Affinity store
