Spencer
Hi, I just upgraded to Version 1.9.2 (from 1.9.1). When I want to use the Search Function in Publisher, the program crashes immediately. With Version 1.9.1 there was no problem.
Spencer
I am now back to Version 1.9.1 and the Search Function within Publisher works fine again.
walt.farrell
Please provide more details, e.g., what do you mean by "the Search function"? There are several, in various places within Publisher. Also, what were you searching for? Details are needed in order to try to recreate the problem, and get it fixed. walt.farrell
Thanks. In English it's "Find and Replace". Was this specific to some particular search or replace text? Or some particular document? Spencer
Because I switched back to 1.9.1 I can not test it again. I noticed that Publisher crashes when I typed a single character in the "Find and Replace field". A friend of mine with the latest OSX Version has no Problem with "Find and Replace". Maybe the Problem ist OSX 10.10. ?
Spencer
Same result with the latest Beta (1.9.2. 1024). Even with a brand new document. Publisher crashes when i type a single character in the "Find" field 😞
walt.farrell
That's too bad. It does not behave that way on Windows, so you may need a Mac user to confirm how it works for them. nwhit
I'm still using beta 1.9.2.1024 and macOS 10.15.7, but it works fine for me.
