antonkudin
When replacing embed or link in document with other one using Resources palette, any layer properties like layer effects, opacity, blending mode, blend options etc are reset to defaults. I think it should replace the embed/link, but keep all properties applied to original.
walt.farrell
How did you apply the layer effects? For example, you might have applied them (a) to a picture frame contains the document or (b) directly to the document's layer. I would expect them to carry over to the new document in case (a) but not in case (b). (Note: I have not tried this myself, but it is important to know exactly what you're doing that shows the problem.) Staff MEB Posted March 22, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 22, 2021 Hi @antonkudin, This should be fixed in the current Beta (1.9.2.229). Do you mind sharing a document that's giving you trouble? I would still like to check it nonetheless (i can provide an upload link if you wish to keep the file private - just let me know). Thanks. antonkudin
Yes, it does seem to be fixed in beta! Sadly it freezes for me (reported in other thread), so i can't use it.
