catlover Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I have a locked pixel layer. After selecting that layer, I can still erase : locking is totally disregarded. Is this a bug ? Quote
NotMyFault Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 It is a feature. The lock protects only against transformation, e.g. changing the size , position, or rotation of the layer. Some users raised a feature request to change the behavior. You may add your voice to this request.😉 Quote Mac mini M1 A2348 | MBP M3 Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x - 32 GB RAM - Nvidia GTX 1080 LG34WK950U-W, calibrated to DCI-P3 with LG Calibration Studio / Spider 5 | Dell 27“ 4K iPad Air Gen 5 (2022) A2589 Special interest into procedural texture filter, edit alpha channel, RGB/16 and RGB/32 color formats, stacking, finding root causes for misbehaving files, finding creative solutions for unsolvable tasks, finding bugs in Apps. catlover Posted March 20, 2021 Author Posted March 20, 2021 I have just posted a feature request to this effect. I don't have much hope that it will be addressed, seeing as of late feature requests and other ligitimate reporting of improper functioning is being disregarded. To me, it looks like things have rather grown beyond development capacity. Which would be a real pity, because I always was under the impression that Serif was one of the few softwre companies that actually recognized they had real people as customers instead of money cows. Why don't you add your opinion to the current one (see forum rules)? catlover Posted March 20, 2021 Author Posted March 20, 2021 It was not meant as an opinion. It should be a standard feature : lock or unlock, very basic. Pšenda 1 Quote
