md3likan Posted March 16, 2021 Share Posted March 16, 2021 I have got M1 MacBook Air, Big Sur 11.2.2 when i'm using Affinity Photo, Designer or Publisher i copy any image from my internet browser paste it but it stucks(not responding), i disable clipboard manager(Maccy) but problem is still going... Alfred Posted March 16, 2021 Share Posted March 16, 2021 The app shouldn’t hang when you paste, of course, but you’ll get more control if you save the image instead of just copying it to the clipboard (and you’ll be able to use it again in other documents). If you save the image to a file you can use linking instead of embedding, which makes the Affinity file smaller and allows you to replace the image more easily. Staff Chris B Posted March 16, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 16, 2021 This is very likely an issue related to the clipboard manager. Even if you've turned it off there's probably something somewhere still causing a conflict. Over the years we have had a number of customers state that their clipboard managers (and there are many) crash, don't work, cause hangs etc. If you get chance, try completely removing any trace of it and see if you can reproduce.
