Holfo Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Hi, I have a problem exporting jpegs in the latest version of Affinity Photo v 1.9.1.979, the exported jpegs have thin white lines in parts of the image (example provided), it looks like a row of pixels are coming through as white, it is not in the same place on different exports and I have tried different export settings (bilinear etc) and still had the same problem. It also did the same when resaving jpegs in a batch job. Any thoughts otherwise I will have to roll back to a previous version Quote
Ron P. Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Welcome to the forums @Holfo, This seems to be a problem with the Hardware Acceleration, OpenCL Compute. Please go to Preferences>Performance and untick the box beside Hardware Acceleration. They are working on getting this fixed. Also they just released another Beta version Customer Beta 1.9.2.997. They fixed a lot of issues with the Hardware Acceleration. You can download it and run it along side the retail version, to see if your issue has been fixed in it. Holfo Posted March 6, 2021 Author Posted March 6, 2021 ok, I'll give this a go, I've just downgraded as I need to get some editing completed but will try soon. Quote
Staff Chris B Posted March 9, 2021 Staff Posted March 9, 2021 You can always install the beta alongside whatever retail version if you'd like to check the progress on things. Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
