chriscaldwell Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Hello there! I'm working on a resume project and am having a hard time understanding how to keep text aligned when it goes to a second line when using a bullet. I've attached a screenshot and the publisher file. Can't seem to figure out how to make it so the second line doesn't align with the bullet, but aligns with the text on the first line. Thank you so much for any help. Still learning Bublisher, so please keep it simple for me. Thank you. Chris carol-resume-22821-A.afpub Quote
Fixx Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 You can adjust text style. Set in spacing tab left indent to same as in bullet tab tabstop is, and first line indent to 0. Quote
h_d Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Like this: First set the Tabstop for the bullet, then set the Left ident to the same measurement. This will automatically adjust the First line indent to the same value. Reset the First line indent to 0. walt.farrell Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I'm curious how you were setting it up originally, @chriscaldwell. For me, using the built-in Bullet 1 text style works as you want. Also the "bulleted list" button on the Context Toolbar works that way. chriscaldwell Posted March 1, 2021 Author Posted March 1, 2021 It was set up as in the file I attached. For some reason, when I clicked on Bullet 1 text style, it was making the font size much bigger. Thank you, Chris Quote

I would have probably just used Bullet 1 and adjusted the font size Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
