Allign tool - options blocked/grey

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,
I've used in the past the allignment tool, with the option "allign to fist selected".

it seems I can't use this option anymore, the options in the tool are greyed out and I can't choose anything.
I have 2 objects selected already.

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance,
Lorenzo

You have the Distribute selection chosen (the far right button).  Choose one of the buttons tor the top, middle or bottom instead.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Having said what I said I now notice that your screenshot of the Alignment is quite different from mine, which application are you using and which version? I have 1.9.0

But I think the previous workflow made more sense

I disagree with you, because your choices change based on your choice of alignment or distribution type, so it would be foolish to allow you to set something that will change immediately. Despite the fact that the options and the need to set them are logically arranged from top to bottom.
