enzo_87
Hi everyone, I've used in the past the allignment tool, with the option "allign to fist selected". it seems I can't use this option anymore, the options in the tool are greyed out and I can't choose anything. I have 2 objects selected already. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance, Lorenzo
enzo_87
thanks for your answer, what do you mean with "pick an allignment first"? if an object is not selected, tool is not even available
Old Bruce
You have the Distribute selection chosen (the far right button). Choose one of the buttons tor the top, middle or bottom instead. enzo_87 1 Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4 Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear. enzo_87
I understand now, thank you both. But I think the previous workflow made more sense😅
Old Bruce
Having said what I said I now notice that your screenshot of the Alignment is quite different from mine, which application are you using and which version? Despite the fact that the options and the need to set them are logically arranged from top to bottom. enzo_87
you are Free to disagree. I personally prefer to be able to choose what I want since start, not waiting to allign first and then deciding how. Different workflow
