Live-Filter Liquify not practicable

The new live filter Liquify is practically unusable for me. Changes are displayed very slowly, delayed and jerky. I'm not sure if it's the implementation or my slightly older graphics card. Have others here also had this experience?

In the Liquify persona, the software behaves normally.

It'll depend on the document you're applying it to, as it's a Live Filter. Have you tried disabling HW to see if that makes a difference?

What kind of document should it not be?

Hello, I have the same problem and wrote about that here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/133306-liquify-as-live-filter-is-very-slow/&do=findComment&comment=734486

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. So it's not my technique then. I only discovered this in the release. Do you know if this worked in one of the betas?
Addendum: Size and file format don't seem to matter.

Maybe someone can merge these two threads.

No, the beta version has the same problem, although it is identical to the official version - and before that there were no beta versions with Liquify as a live filter.
