EmanueL-AT
Hello, I installed Publisher 1.8.5.703 on Sunday for the first time. I created a document and wanted to enter some dummy text in two text frames. Here is what I did and what happened (and keeps happening): Create 1st text frame and enter text Create 2nd text frame Connect the frames (using the little triangle of the 1st frame) Click into 1st text frame and select all of the text (Ctrl-A or manually) Ctrl-C (You can also skip this step, Publisher will crash as well.) Press "End" key Publisher closes It doesn't make a difference whether I follow the steps above or whether I click the triangle of frame 1 first and create frame 2 afterwards. Publisher is installed on Windows 10 Home 20H2 (Build 19042.630).
Joachim_L
Hi @EmanueL-AT, welcome to the Affinity forums! "Nice" recipe, I can confirm the crash for 1.8.5.703 and 1.9.0.863. If I create the text frames in AD, switch to APu to link the frames, switch back to AD and follow steps from 4. on I get the crash too. Attached a crash report generated for APu 1.9.0.863. fc2d5acf-d16c-4d4c-ad04-e31e630462f1.dmp EmanueL-AT 1 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
