pruus
I use the the font fattern. This is a SVG font. But....only on newer Adobe photoshop and illustrator this font is shown with a colered pattern. In Designer, we see the font in black, filled inside. here is the font: https://www.fontspace.com/fattern-font-f48474 read at the and the remark about the coloring in newer Adobe versions. In designer iPad, I see the fattern font, colored. But bij choosing. It will be black and filled single color. how can we use Fattern? See screendumps: Choose the font in Designer: choose the font in Designer, iPad: it’s colored! Yeah.
Alfred
We can’t use colour fonts yet in the Affinity apps. As shown in your screenshot, they’re displayed in colour in the font list, but I think that’s just a standard iOS/iPadOS feature. Alfred
I’ve attached my reworking of the file ‘Fattern Outlines.ai’ in Affinity format. It’s not as flexible as having a fully working colour font, of course, but at least it provides a starting point for including colour Fattern text in your documents. pruus
Great. Thanks @alfred!. Affinity has to do a lot af things. But I like the suite. Just miss sometimes something. And peanuts, oké. But if we don’t mention, nobody will know. Perhaps version 2.0 gives us more.... Alfred
Alfred
I’ve now reworked the same designer’s ‘Multicolore Pro’ font. I had to use the EPS file because the AI files aren’t PDF-compatible and I can’t resave them because I don’t have Adobe Illustrator. I would like to have reworked ‘ColorTube’ too, but it was only supplied as an incompatible AI file. multicolore-v2-3902.afdesign pruus 1 Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.5.1 (iPad 7th gen)
