weegiegrum
Every time I try to update the TOC in my Publisher document, all unpinned pictures move out of alignment in their page frame. It only seems to affect unpinned pics as far as I can tell. There are only a few pictures that I haven't pinned - mainly because something weird is going on and I don't know what to do about it, such as the one shown below. When I pin it the image disappears and I get this huge seemingly randomly placed pin (all other chapter heading images pin to the word 'chapter' below). Old Bruce
Are these pinned pictures in the ToC or on other pages throughout the document? weegiegrum
They're in pages throughout the document. There are no pictures in the TOC. With the exception of the one shown, unpinned images are still present, they just move out of alignment. Already pinned images stay put. weegiegrum
It's a little large, but I've uploaded to my Dropbox: (removed file) Edited November 12, 2020 by weegiegrum removed file Quote Grahame AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-core 3.6GHz CPU, 32GB RAM, 500GB SSD, 2TB HDD, GeForce RTX-3060ti GPU, 64-Bit Windows 11 Affinity Publisher/ Designer/ Photo 1.10.6.1665 and 2.5.3 "I don't do fruit-based technology." Staff Gabe Posted November 12, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 12, 2020 I'm sorry but I can't see anything moving when I regenerate it. Can you attach a screen recording of this in action please?
weegiegrum
It doesn't seem to be doing that any more for me either now. I thought it may have had something to do with images being linked and not embedded - when I had the problem I just had linked images, and subsequently decided to embed them all. But now I've tried changing them all back to linked and it still seems fine. Just another random glitch in the matrix I guess. There have been a few of those.
