Alzbeta
Please help! I have a logo which is made of few curves and triangle. I need the logo to be responsive when resizing. When I do it know all the lines are getting messed.
Gear maker
Alzbeta, you can place several curves in a single layer by doing a Merge curves. Or you could just place all layers in a Group or Layer. But I don't think that is going to help. Could you attach your drawing so we can see what is happening when you resize? Staff MEB Posted October 23, 2020 Staff Share Posted October 23, 2020 Hi @Alzbeta, Welcome to Affinity Forums Select all lines/objects before enlarging, switch to the Rectangle Tool or other tool that let's you access the stroke dropdown in the context toolbar (see screeshot below) and tick Scale with object. Then enlarge/scale up the objects. If you are using Affinity Designer you can also access that option through the Stroke panel (not available in Affinity Photo). Alzbeta
Hello @MEB, please I need help one more time 🙏 I'm about to send my client the final logo design and everything is working perfect in Affinity, but when I open the svg logo in adobe illustrator it is again totally messed up. Is there a way to export it so in the future when they will send the logo to other designer who use adobe it will look still the same? Thank you so much for the support! Really appreciated! firstdefence
PDF Export is probably the best option, you probably need to just try a variety of exports to check for best result. I would also duplicate the artwork layers and expand the strokes and merge them so there is a choice, by expanding the strokes you can edit the right leg of the ‘A’ and do away with the little foot addition. Example file based on your first image and the smaller logo.TAO example expanded strokes.afdesign (Saved with history so you can jog back and forth in the history panel.) Staff MEB Posted November 2, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 2, 2020 Hi @Alzbeta, Yes, both are being imported correctly for me in Illustrator (latest version) using PDF (for export) preset in Affinity. What Illustrator version are you using? Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Alzbeta
I am using the latest version as well, but I have exported the logo in svg (and that was not working), the pdf format is working.

Alzbeta
Okay, that is great, so I guess it should be fine. I have only the 7 day trial version of the adobe, so maybe that os the problem, I don't know but I am happy that it is working on yours. Thank you so much for the help!!!
