Dump on FILE:New XXXX, or File:Open-Not Drag&Drop

Consistently crashing when I use "File/Open - File/New..., but do not crashing when I Drag & Drop the same image into Affinity Photo.

Just switched from Beta because of crashes but nothing has changed. 

Desktop Windows 10 64 bit - 24 GB Ram - i5 - SSD Internal Drive - Affinity Ver 1.8.5.703

Affinity is having a problem with NVIDIA GPUs, go to Edit, Preferences, Performance and click on Renderer and change that to either WARP or the iGPU if you have an integrated GPU as well as the NVIDIA GPU. Then Close and Restart.

Hi Gabe, 456.71 is the latest but this is still an ongoing problem.
