Full image not showing.

Why is Affinity Photo not showing the full jpg image?

I have a CR3 image which with Faststone Image Viewer I can see the full image (display board with small amount of background showing) but in affinity photo there is a few pixels missing so the image is cropped trimming a small amount of the image. This happens on all 4 edges of the image. Affinity only exports the area visible.

This issue means I would have to compensate by not doing a tight 'in camera' shot so as not to loose a shot.

The image shows a screen shot of the issue. The left is Faststone Image Viewer & the right is Affinity Photo.

Windows 10 OS.

Try switching off Lens Correction in the Develop Persona when you open the CR3 file.

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Thanks Carl123, after doing what you said I was able to use the perspective warp etc. and correct the image manually .

Takes some getting used to Affinity Photo after 4 plus years with Adobe PS, all the same controls - but not necessarily in the same order, lol.
