Asset is very slow and not work on separate windows

Hi,
I work with Affinity Designer 1.8.4 on MacBook Pro 16" and when I add a group on asset is very slow and if I use a separate mode it's not work.

My asset -> 4,12GB

I think the slowness is due to the elements on the assets to be operated but why not work in separate mode? Is it a bug or what?

Thanks

If I try to view assets from the studio tab, my computer becomes unstable and either I have to shut down with the power button or it shuts itself down after the beachball forever. Catalina 10.15.7, 2017 I Mac Pro, 3.2 Ghz 8 core Intel, 64 gb of memory. This has been ongoing for quite some time, very annoying, very scary, please help. This worked fine before, I cannot use my assets at all now they will not open, just the beach ball forever and no control over my computer.

Hi thanks I have tried to find  ~/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/Data/Library/Application Support/user/, I have the Mac store app version, and I cannot find Containers at all in the library. I went to the hard drive, maybe I am looking in the wrong library.

Try this path then.

~/Library/Application Support/Affinity Designer/user

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Thanks, I tried that and Affinity is not there either, I don't know what's up with this. Other than the assets not working at all and crashing the computer if I try to turn them on, the Affinity apps work. I am wondering if the controller for the asset manager, whatever that is, somehow got corrupted or is gone??
