Hello, I have found a weird bug or anomaly that I cannot figure out what is wrong.

You can have the same font at the same size and they will be completely differnt.

Both of these are 11 point minion pro but the one on the right is about 60% smaller. Am I doing something wrong?

thanks!

Without the document there is nothing I can suggest other than just off the top of my head to select some of the letters and check the Character Panel for Horizontal and Vertical resizing. Should be 100% for each.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Is that one document or two? If it’s two (which could be one with a second one ‘placed’ within it) they won’t look the same unless they’re set to the same document DPI and the same view zoom.

the new text was defaulting to subscript

Wow! I can’t imagine I’d ever have thought of that!! Glad you managed to identify the problem.

That window helped. It was not that but the new text was defaulting to subscript. Thanks for helping me find that!
