And also if the spaces are added to the end of a line before the "right-align" attribute is applied. Please enable Text->Show special characters. I can't tell from your screencast whether these are all separate lines or whether this is one paragraph. If it is one paragraph you shouldn't be able to indent your text on either side of the text box. If these are independent lines then this behaviour is consistent with how inDesign works as well. EDIT: Sorry, designer doesn't not have that option (Show Special Characters). But if you have Publisher you could try to open it in Publisher and then my suggestion of enamelling special characters would shed some more light on it.
