Hi, I've had this issue before and its unfortunate I loose all the work I've done in the file but I've tried opening this file and every time it says "The file seems to be corrupted". I've also tried opening previous saved versions of that same file and it does not allow me to open it. Is there any way of recovering my file?

Hi Marisela,

Welcome to the forums!

I'm really sorry to hear one of your files has become corrupt please could you attach a copy of it to this thread as we are sometimes able to repair them. Hopefully this will be the case with your file.

Thanks

Maybe someone could fix the file for you. But until then, try this:

Create a new document with the dimensions you need and place the corrupted file into that document as embedded. This way you should be able to access the "corrupted" file's content. That worked here, publisher complained only about the missing fonts.

Affinity Publisher version 1.9.2

@Sparrowc

See attached

All (11) pages recovered.

BRICK2-1B.JPG on page 11 (second image from right) was the problem. Image has been removed

Readding the exact same image may be OK, as sometimes it's not the image that is corrupt but how it ends up in Publisher

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.
