jdj
Hi, Using Affinity Designer I've used the "Diamond Tool" to draw a diamond with 4 sides and then converted it into a shape. Fill color is transparent and border color is the same on all 4 sides of the diamond. However I wan't a different border color on 2 of the opposing sides. I can't figure out how to do this but maybe someone could help. Thanks. Edited August 16, 2020 by jdj
thomaso
The most flexible would probably be to split it into 4 separate lines, though you can have 2 of each on the same layer as "(curves)" object. If you would insist not to have more than 1 layer a dashed stroke comes to my mind but its tricky to handle, especially in the corners. Also its dash changes when scaling, unless you activate "Scale with object". jdj
Hi, Please see the attached image, which is the visual I'm trying to do. I can't seem to get the edges and line layer priority right. If you could provide step-by-step instructions or a template file, that would be great. Thanks.
Alfred
The attached was done rather quickly, so it’s not perfectly aligned, but it should give you the general idea. The main thing is to stack the darker shapes on top of the lighter ones.
