mrbips Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 Is there a keystroke to copy a linked frame text box so that the next copied one is also linked? Currently I have to click the triangle (Click to flow text out to another frame) for each subsequent box Current Working Solution is to link 6-10 boxes, select all, copy (the new copy will be linked) then link to original to copied, rinse and repeat until total number needed exists Quote
Gear maker Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 There's no way to automate the placement of a number by each dot that I have ever seen. What about if instead of using a box, use the background color for each number for a box. It would make it easier than creating an actual box around the numbers. If you are using text frames on different pages you should use them on a master page, but to have 24 linked text frames on one page your solution is what I use. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
