strange artifacts after selection tool

hello

i have problem with strange artifacts when using selection tool -> refine edge

when i choose Output -> Selection and then i make mask from Selection in Layers toolbar everything is OK

but in Refine Edge -> Output -> New Layer with Mask, i have strange artifacts outside selected objects

Hi Adam,

This is colour decontamination. 

The background colour contribution is disregarded on the matted pixels, so the results just outside of the actual mask itself will look like this.

What is the correct procedure to prevent subject results.  I also have this problem.
