Welcome to the forums. Could you make a photo of the print? Or post the file which is printing not correctly? What printer are you using?

The printer is brand new EpsonET7750, no good sending the file as there is no problem printing via another program. I have aligned the printer heads numerous times before I tried to print using another program. I have attached a scan of the printed image.

Hi Charles1608

Welcome to the forums :)

Does this happen with all files or just one? If its just one please provide the file if its all files please could you create a screen recording showing you going through the print menu?

Thanks

Upload the file, maybe someone has the same printer and can test on their system, if the image can print from affinity on different printer then it’s more than likely going to be a setting or an issue with your printers firmware.

Hi I have been trying Affinity Photo for several weeks with good results up till now.  Yesterday I started getting black lines when printing from my Epson XP-960. Yesterday they were horizontal across the image spaced at 6.5cm approx.  Tried again today on some images they are still horizontal on others they are vertical down the image at 7cm spacing approx. The lines do not appear on the screen only on the print.  I tried nozzle cleaning and head alignment - no effect. Then I tried printing to the Epson from Photoshop - perfect with no lines.  I printed the same Affinity images to the Epson from a different computer over a wireless instead of wired network connection - identical lines.  I printed the same Affinity images to a Brother printer - no lines. I uninstalled the Epson printer and its driver and re-installed it from scratch - no change.  I want to change to Affinity from Photoshop but if I can't print I can't change.

I'm having the same problem printing from Affinity Photo to an Epson ET-7700 printer. An image will print perfectly from Photoshop and another image editing program. I've tried head cleaning and resizing the printed image but to no avail and changed lots of settings on the printer driver. I hope someone has found the answer?

I am also now getting the Black Vertical Lines in my prints. Works fine printing from other programs. Thought it was the printhead...cleaned it, still got the lines. I have two Epson ET-3600 printers in my classroom so I tried the other printer....same problem. Has to be a software issue.

*** Hi, I have found a solution  ***

Talking to Affinity Help Desk - they suggested "Rasterizing" the Image before printing. There is a Right click option and also on the print page in Affinity.

It works !!!

it is almost two years later and the same issue is still in the program? it only happens for me in printing to an Epson P600 in 11X17 size. the 13x19 and 8.5X11 are fine. compared to Photoshop, it is not very good.
