CreditFlats Posted April 22, 2020 Share Posted April 22, 2020 (edited) When using "Photo - Launch registered application" function in Olympus Workspace on an E-P5 camera ORF raw file, Affinity Photo does not open it as a raw file, but immediately show it as a jpg format. This happens when no jpg format of the photo is available on the drive. Attached is a sample ORF raw file that opens in JPG format. There is no problem opening the ORF raw file any other way. "Launch Registered app" does not send the RAW file across, but only a 16bit TIFF; this the behaviour regardless of which application you use as a registered app. I suggest you get in touch with Olympus and see if they have any way of passing over the RAW file instead of the tiff. Draig Posted September 15, 2020 Share Posted September 15, 2020 I have only now read these posts. I use Olympus Workspace and have no problem with the 'Launch Registered App' facility. Tr48 Posted August 13, 2022 Share Posted August 13, 2022 I have OM1 system camera and when I click launch registered application, I now get a strange two tone block of colour - which is annoying since until a month ago it would launch and open the file as a colour image.
