Thanks for responding again. Yes, I tried changing the units to Centimetres etc, and the result is the same. I am using the same common procedure, for creating borders, as I have been for years with no problem whatsoever. I am baffled as to what has happened to the software since what amounts to a week or so ago when I previously created borders!

No luck. The figures come up either wrong or unresponsive!

For years now I have been creating borders to my photos by resizing the canvas and then creating a fill layer. However, now I find that the re-size canvas function does not work. I unlink the two measurements and centre the canvas as usual, but when I try to alter the figures in the left and right size boxes they do not change. I am using Windows 11 and have never come across any problems before with this hitherto straight forward procedure. Any suggestions or this a recent bug?

Thank you very much for responding. I looked at this problem again today and it seems that the upgrade came with the hardware acceleration enabled. Disabling this seems to have cured it. The camera is an Olympus OMD em5 mk3.

Firstly there is a definite delay in an image fully resolving when first opening a raw file in the Develop Persona. Then another delayed response to the first develop action such as an exposure adjustment. These delays were not present in Affinity 2.0!

I'm using AP V2.04 on a Windows machine. Which may explain a different manifestation of the same bug.

I find that when trying to adjust the white balance in the Develop Persona, the increase/decrease arrows alongside the 'temperature' counter do not have any effect! Why not? Both sliders for 'temperature' and 'tint' operate OK and the increase/decrease arrows work OK for 'tint' adjustments. Strange!

I seem to recollect trying that early on and no it did not.
