your clip to canvas=#1- broke,=screen shot#1, Here i am sitting on the edge of the canvas not on the canvas , items 4 through 1(& or numbers)are missing??????? this was zoomed in real big 1480782221_1.thumb.png.bef0ea9e3f31e19908eae68452af2e00.png

#2=it was glitchy when i would zoom in & out of the canvas???????????. now this is showing that your clip to canvas is broken???! So?next #

#3=See pic#2, i decided to move my project down half way between the canvas & the pasteboard. and highlight the 2nd instance of my project, which is on the pasteboard,  (obvious). again very glitch when i zoom in / out, so i found a medium=#6-5-4 are showing #=3-2-1=are not???. note. #4 is completely off the canvas, that is because i have deactivated clip to canvas, but my 2nd instance of my project is not showing , but selected???

ohH, ohH  ,this is where the really fun stuff comes in

See pic#3=in this pick i decided to put split view on to see what would happen... for a better view see Pic#4...

Just Wait....

don't blink! just Wait...

magic???? now let me start stating the obvious here...in pic#7 my notes are gone???, But How, Why, When ,where... note that if you look to the right F+, F, E, D+, etc: are marked to be showing BUT A(big-big-)But

239585452_7.thumb.png.c06ff678f8e4c79c20e0b30c2a8528e5.png

when i left split view my notes just, pooph gone

so in pic#8 i decided to move that 2nd instance of my project down to the 1st instance to see if things go back, you Know What....No, Nope

Now in pic#8 you can see on the right that (group is the main category) notes are next=B, A+, A, G+, etc: they are all checked( & / earmarked ) to be showing.?

742678098_8.thumb.png.80cb301a746a02c4cb5a814db7317700.png

Now in pic#9 the (last pic, not). in it you see the whole tree structure starting with #1=group #2=notes #3=labels-strings #4=fret-labels=top #5=fret-labels=bottom #6=frets #7=strings-with 6th & 5th strings showing.

Now the mystery is (everything is earmarked to be showing)... Now Sarcastic-Man (meaning ME!) wants to ask the question? of, what is wrong with this picture???

i think i know #6 & #7 are just showing. that means #1-#5 are Not!???

so i guess their are a few things going wrong here between split screen & clip to canvas & i will add zoom.?

now i had to over-expose my-self as-in (my project)-Mine all Mine)too the rest of the world- to show you, your flaws... i don't see how this is fair & equal

I am not sure what you are trying to convey.

Clip to Canvas is a viewing option. It will show objects that are on the canvas plus the bleed if any, and therefore not show items off of the canvas.

... and furthermore: a NOT clip to canvas view will not show an endless area above or below a page but rather to its left or right only. The reason for that clipping is the position of other pages/spreads, which always appear above or below of each other. So, to prevent objects from unwanted appearance on other pages, the vertical workspace is limited (> clipped), both visually and practically: once you move an object vertically far enough from a page you will move it onto another spread. So to say a feature.

Therefore the unclipped canvas view does vertically never exceed a specific area, which, as mentioned, is far smaller than that at left and right. – Add 1 or 2 more pages to your document and you easily will get aware of how it works.

I am guessing duplicate lines. Check the layers panel.

You might want to continue with this topic in your other tread where you started about arrow heads already. Otherwise both threads could become confusing easily.

p.s.: It can be more useful not to post bug reports during this beginning. There are two threads for feedback and questions and one for tutorials already.
