thomaso Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 In a 4-c document a shadow defined as K only gets converted to 4-c color on PDF export. – Attached two PDFs (print-preset , preset X-4). v183 shadow 100K_1.7.pdf v183 shadow 100K_X-4.pdf Since this problem was reported by Serif today as possibly solved in v183, I link to a corresponding thread. This K-only effect/multiply issue was reported quite a few times since pre-retail beta versions, this is just a more recent thread: woefi 1 Quote • MacBookPro Retina 15" | macOS 10.14.6 | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 • iPad 10.Gen. | iOS 18.5. | Affinity V2.6
BigStef Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Hi @thomaso, thanks for this topic. I actually got around this problem by not using the "Shadow" tool for my 4C documents, but by duplicating the layer and assigning it a color K with a blur + multiply. It would be my pleasure to use "Shadows" again with version 1.8.3 if this was corrected. It's so much more… easy and practical Quote
